When you subscribe to reminders, we collect your email address and the domain name(s) you submit. When you sign in, we use a magic-link authentication flow — we do not store passwords. We do not collect personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your email address solely to send certificate expiry reminders and account-related notifications (such as magic-link sign-in emails). We use domain names to perform TLS certificate checks and display status information.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite). Certificate snapshots, subscription records, and delivery logs are retained for the duration of your subscription. Unsubscribed data may be retained for a reasonable period for audit purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Email delivery is handled by Resend — their privacy policy applies to the transmission of emails.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (cc_session) to maintain your authenticated session after magic-link sign-in. This cookie is HttpOnly and does not track you across sites.

6. Your Rights

You can unsubscribe from reminders at any time via the link in any email we send. To request deletion of your data, contact us on X @certchime.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
